The crew hits the vault
every hour

--:--

Reading the job from the database.

Every trade on $FIVESTAR drops a creator fee in the vault. It holds -- SOL right now, and once an hour a crew of holders goes in for a cut.

In the vault, filled by creator fees and read live from Solana.

    Radio from the car

The radio is quiet. The crew talks once the first job has run.

      The wanted level

The wanted level sits at 0 stars.

        Who is in the car

Nobody has signed on for this job yet.

        How the job works

The take is a game prize paid from real creator fees.

        Every job on the record

        Fair play

Who decides if a job comes off?

Nobody here. When a job locks, the server waits for the first finalized Solana block produced after the lock and takes its blockhash. The seed is sha256("FIVESTAR:" + job + ":" + blockhash). The first eight hex characters of the seed, divided by 232, give the roll. The job is clean when the roll is under the clean rate for the wanted level it ran at.

        What do the stars change?

More stars make a clean job rarer and the take bigger. The full table is published above, under "The wanted level". A busted job adds a star, up to five. A clean job sets the stars back to zero.

        How is the take split?

The take is a share of the vault, minus anything still owed and a 0.01 SOL reserve. It is split by each crew wallet's $FIVESTAR balance read again at lock, with a 20% cap per wallet. Anything over a cap goes to the rest of the crew. Wallets under the minimum hold weigh nothing.

        How are payouts sent?

From the vault wallet in batched transfers. Every batch signature is on the job page. A batch that does not land is sent again, and each wallet is paid once per job.

Your browser recomputes the seed and the roll from the published blockhash.
